Laurel Podulke is an AmSAT-Certified teacher of the Alexander Technique. She is a 2005 graduate of the Alexander Training Institute of Los Angeles, where she completed her three-year (1600 hour) training. Laurel also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts (University of Minnesota, Twin Cities).
She has taught group classes in the Alexander Technique throughout the Rochester area, and maintains a private practice from home. Laurel currently teaches group classes and offers private instruction at the Mayo Clinic's Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center (DAHLC).
As an Alexander Technique teacher she has successfully helped individuals who face such conditions as chronic muscle strain, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, arthritis, fibro mayalgia, TMJ Syndrome, migraine headaches, hypertension, anxiety, chronic hoarseness and vocal strain, poor breathing coordination, poor posture, osteoporosis, as well as numerous mobility issues.
Laurel seeks to instill self-mastery, self-confidence, and self-reliance in her students.
